Opinion of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti on the project to issue its digital currency (MDBC)

The Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) informs the public in general, the financial sector and any interested person in particular that within the framework of its project to issue a central bank digital currency (MDBC), no technology provider has been selected to date. In accordance with the legislation on public procurement, BRH is working on the tender documents that should lead to the selection of a technology solution firm.

Furthermore, BRH would like to remind the public that it is the only competent authority that can provide information on the different phases of its digital currency project.
