The Haitian Gourde is the monetary currency of Haiti. It is permanently fixed to the Haitian Dollar at a ratio of five to one (5:1). This project is to utilize the Haitian Dollar’s features and capabilities to serve as a gateway to facilitate increased to access to electronic payment systems and financial products and services for segments of the Haitian population.
